Rainfall in few places in the State

Bangalore, May 5 (UNI) Following is the summary of observations record in weather office here today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over north interior karnataka and at isolated places over costal karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over south interior karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Banavasi, Shiggon 3 each, Bhalki, Kalgi 1 each.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over south interior karnataka however fell at a few places over north interior karnataka and changed little over coastal karnataka. They were below normal at a few places over south interior karnataka and were normal over coastal karnataka and north interior karnataka.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the state.

Farmers weather bulletin: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of the state.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 33 degree celsius.
