Minting 'green gold' in APMPB agenda: Sora

Itanagar, May 05 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Medicinal Plant Board(APMPB) chairman Kito Sora has announced to evolve a strategy to mint 'green gold' from the state's rich herbal and medicinal resources.

Mr Sora was reappointed as the board's chairman and would resume the office on May seven.

The board had been playing a pivotal role in exploring and exploiting the vast resources in the economic interest of the state, said Sora.

He further said the medicinal plants and herbs of state were yielding crores of rupees abroad in illegal ways adding that the people should be made aware to stop such illegal practices.

Moreover, scientific exploitation of such resources involving the stake holders would be adopted.
