Man kills wife, commits suicide

Hisar, May 5 (UNI) A man committed suicide after his wife, whom he allegedly thrashed with a stick, died in Kanwari village of Hisar district in Haryana today.

Police said Dariya Singh hit his wife Bharpai on her head with a stick when they had an argument this morning. The woman later died in a hospital.

When he came to know of the death of his wife, Dariya Singh committed suicide by consuming an insecticide spray.

Police registered a case under Section 174 of the Cr P C.
