Life term to 4 brothers

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, May 5 (UNI) The district court has sentenced five people, including four brothers, to life imprisonment on the charge of killing their neighbour contractor.

Additional Sessions Judge G S Kunjam yesterday sentenced four brothers - Ganesh Tiwari, Rajendra Tiwari, Laxman Tiwari, Sukhdev Tiwari - and Vakeel Qureshi for murdering BJP worker and local railway Porter colony-resident Kundan Singh here two years back.

According to the prosecution, both the victim and assailants were BJP workers, but had grudge against each other. Kundan Singh was shot dead when he was going to drop his six-year old son at the school on July 4, 2005. His son also sustained gunshot wound on his hand.
