Lathicharge on examinees of Patna University

Patna, May 5 (UNI) Police today lathicharged a group of agitating LLB examinees of Patna University who ransacked the college property, after some of their friends were caught red-handed while allegedly cheating during the examination.

Police said some examinees of B N College and Vanijya Mahavidyalaya of the university walked out of the examination halls in protest and did not allow other examinees to continue their examination.

After the repeated requests to stop them from vandalising within the college failed, police used lathis to disperse them.

Sources said some students started pelting stones on the police vehicles after a few students were injured following the lathicharge.
