Jet bags Freddie Award for frequent flyer plan

New Delhi, May 5: For the third year in succession, Jet Airways has been conferred the Freddie Award, this time in the coveted category of Programme of the Year for Japan, Australia, Asia and Pacific regions.

The 19th annual presentation ceremony was held at Arlington in Virginia. Jet Privilege is the only programme to be featured in top five in all the nine categories of the Freddie awards.

Besides, it scored high by securing second position in four other categories including best customer service, best affinity credit card, Jet Airways Citibank credit card, best award and best elite level.

Jet Privilege was re-launched in July 2004, making it India's first five-tiered programme.

Jet currently operates 340 flights daily with a fleet of 63 aircraft. Since inception in May 1993 until April-end, the private airline has flown over 72 million passengers.
