Former Kolhapur corporator killed in accident

Kolhapur, May 5 (UNI) A former city corporator died and two others were injured when the car in which they were travelling was dashed by another car near Kagal State transport bus stand here today.

Police said deceased ex-corporator Ismail Sheikh, accompanied by the two others, was proceeding towards Kagal when the accident occurred.

The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.

The driver of the other car has been taken into custody.
