Dr Reddy to leave for US visit tomorrow

Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his team would leave for United States(US) as part of his seven-day official tour to the country tomorrow.

Dr Reddy, accompanied by state Political Affairs Adviser K V P Ramachandra Rao, Prinicpal Secretary to CM Jannat Hussain and Chief Security Officer to CM G Uday Kumar would leave for US at 0110 IST on Sunday, according to an official release.

He would visit Chicago, St Louis, San Francisco and Singapore from May 6 to 13.

In the first leg of the tour, Dr Reddy would participate in the interaction programme with Telugu NRIs besides participating in the programmes being organised by TANA and ATA at Chicago on May 6.

He would arrive at ST Louis on May 7 and participate in agriculture related programmes. On May 8, Dr Reddy would attend the World Agricultural Congress 2007 where he would deliver the inaugural address.

The Chief Minister would also participate in the Indus Enterpreneurs (TIE) meeting on IT, Semi Conductor and FAB manufacturing at San Francisco on May 9. He will leave for Singapore on the same night.

Dr Reddy would participate in Investment Promotion programmes, infrastructure development and interaction with the industrialists in Singapore. He would return to Hyderabad on May 13, the release said.
