Depression crosses Arkan coast
Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, May 5 (UNI) The depression over East Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman islands moved northwestwards and crossed Arkan coast, early today.
An official spokesperson of IMD told UNI here that the system had weakened and now lay as a well marked low pressure area over central Myanmar.
Fairly widespread rainfall was likely over Andaman islands during the next 24 hours, he added.
