Defamation case against Amarinder adjourned to May 10
Shimla, May 5 (UNI) A local court here today adjourned the hearing on a defamation petition against former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh and senior Congress leader Moti Lal Vohra for May 10.
The matter was posted for hearing on May 10 since the judge was on leave today.
The petition was filed by former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal against the Congress leaders for allegedly levelling charges of corruption against him during the last Lok Sabha elections.
Both the Congress leaders had filed applications in the court to exempt them from personal appearance in the case.
The hearing in another case of defamation filed by Mr Dhumal against Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma was also adjourned for May 10.
