Congress demands CBI inquiry into killing of contractor

Patna, May 5 (UNI) The Bihar unit of the Congress party today demanded a CBI inquiry into the killing of a contractor Ajay Sinha, who was shot dead by unidentified criminals in Patna on Thursday.

In a release, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee member Sunil Singh Chhaviraj alleged that the killing in broad day light had exposed the current law and order situation in the state.

''Only a CBI inquiry into the killing of the contractor would expose the persons involved in the incident,'' he added.

The Congress leader also demanded security cover and compensation for the bereaved family.
