Christian body sends fact finding team to Jaipur
New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) A fact-finding team comprising eminent human rights activists Dr John Dayal and Teesta Seetalvad recently visited Jaipur to take stock of the situation after the attack on Pastor Walter Massey on April 29.
Organised by All India Christian Council, the team is likely to publish its report on or before Monday, according to a release.
TheY body will also move the National Commission for Minorities for suitable action.
The team was dismayed over the police formally recording the nationally televised assault on the Pastor, the released added.
They severely criticised the state government for failing to protect the minorities.
Prime accused Veerendra Singh has since been suspended from government service.
