2 Lankans held

Chennai, May 5 (UNI) Two Sri Lankan Tamils, activists of the Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (ENDLF) were arrested by the police here tonight.

Police said the arrested persons, Rasan alias Gnanasekaran and Parantharaman, were spotted by the Q-branch police at Kodambakkam here, when they were moving in a suspicious manner.

On interrogation, the police found that they were having valid documents to stay in India.

The arrested, suspected to be the supporters of KARUNA group (LTTE rebels), were strictly warned and sent to special camp near here.
