Yahoo declines comment on reports of Microsoft talks

BOSTON, May 4 (Reuters) A Yahoo Inc. spokeswoman declined to comment on Friday on newspaper reports that her company is in talks with Microsoft Corp. about a possible merger or some kind of link-up between the two companies.

''We do not discuss rumors or speculation,'' Yahoo spokeswoman Joanna Stevens told Reuters.
