Vizag rural SP suspended

Hyderabad, May 4 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government has suspended Visakhapatnam Rural Superintendent of Police P J G Murali for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) recently conducted raids at his official residence and found properties which he could not possess with his known sources of income.

Following this, orders were issued by the Home Ministry, suspending him.

The ACB Special Court remanded him in custody.
