TV Serial on road safety from tomorrow

Jaipur, May 4 (UNI) In a bid to generate public awareness for road safety and traffic rules, the Jaipur Traffic Police and a private TV film production firm have jointly produced TV Serial-Anmol Jeevan- for telecast on Doordarshan regional channel(DD II) from tomorrow.

This road safety based serial will show real life accident fatalities through animations, live public interaction with specialist counselling and will capture graphically the impact of daredevil driving, Mr Anil Srivastava, Executive Producer of the serial said.

He said that the serial would aim at educating people, particularly the youths about road safety and inculcating observance of traffic rules and social etiquettes.

The serial would be telecast from 1815 to 1830 hours on DD II every Saturday from tomorrow onwards. Preliminarily 26 episodes of the serial are proposed but a final decision on number of episodes are yet to be taken.
