Seven awarded rigorous imprisonment in a dowry case
Kishanganj, May 4 (UNI) Fast Track Court judge Jhula Nand Jha today sentenced ten people to rigorous imprisonment in a case related to dowry death.
While three people were awarded ten years' rigorous imprisonment, the rest were sentenced for seven years.
The husband, aided and abetted by his parents and other convicts, strangulated his wife to death at Chakchaki village under Kochadhaman police station after the latter's parents failed to oblige them with dowry in 2006.
