Sales Tax Joint Commissioner found dead

Lucknow, May 4 (UNI) Sales Tax Joint Commissioner Abhay Nath Singh was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence here today.

Mr Singh was found dead at his house in Balaji apartment in Nawabgang area.

While Mr Singh was posted in Kanpur, his family resided in Lucknow.

The reason behind the crime, remained unknown.

Preliminary report says he was garrotted and further investigations are on, police said.

A manhunt has been launched to trace the accused.
