Promart launches first store in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, May 4 (UNI) Promart, a division of Provogue (India), has launched its first store in the country at Ahmedabad, an off price departmental store targetting the new generation shoppers.

Addressing reporters here today, Provogue director Akhil Chaturvedi said that internationally off price sales captured approximately ten per cent of the total apparel and accessories retail market.

He said Promart offers all such brands in an organised set up to sell their merchandise from the last range, at discounted prices to a very large audience seeking fashion and value.

Promart CEO Bipin Gurnani said, ''We will house a judicious mix of domestic and international leading brands under one umbrella, offering the best value and shopping experience.' The store will offer real brand at a discount ranging from 20 to 60 per cent throughout the year, ensuring brand conscious customers to possess branded items on value for money prices, he added.

Promart plans to open 20 more stores across the country in the next two years, Mr Gurnani informed, adding that Jaipur and Indore will have Promart stores shortly.
