One injured in fire in Multiplex

Rajkot, May 4 (UNI) A person sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out today in a Multiplex on the outskirts of the city.

Eight fire fighters were put to service and the fire was brought under control after an hour.

Deputy fire officer K V Ghela told UNI over phone that the fire broke out in the multiplex around 1330 hrs.

The injured was admitted to a civil hospital, he said Preliminary reports suggested that short circuit was the cause of the fire, Mr Ghela said.

The exact loss of property is yet to be ascertained, he added.
