Nick promises to make every kid a superstar

Kolkata, May 04 (UNI) All kids are equally talented and have the potential to become a superstar, according to Nick India Vice President and General Manager Nina Elavia Jaipuria.

Speaking at the launch of Nick Fundoo Superstar Contest, a summer promotion for Nick cartoon channel, yesterday, Ms Jaipuria said the channel aims to promote these kids with equal opportunity and help them to realise and make their dreams come true.

She further added the four-week long contest starting from May seven to June third would culminate with four winners.

'' The winners will get a chance to star in a music album along with 'Nick toon stars' and Mona Singh of Jassi fame, who is also the brand ambassador of this programme,'' Ms Jaipuria said.

While Swanand Kirkire of 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' fame will write lyrics for the song, Vishal-Shekhar, music directors of 'Salaam Namaste' and 'Ta Ra Rum Pum', will compose the music.

''The uniqueness of the promotion lies in the fact that for Nick all kids are superstars and therefore no auditions, no tests, no judges and no jury, they just need to be their 'fundoo' selves,'' Ms Jaipuria added.

The grand finale of the 'Fundoo Superstar Contest' would be the release of the Nick music video in July.
