Mah govt ready to offer all assistance for power projects

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said the state was giving top priority for power generation projects and it would offer all cooperation to Singapore if it came forward to set up such projects.

He was interacting with Singapore's transport minister Raymond Lim here yesterday.

Mr Lim, who was on a visit to the city, said Singapore is interested in constructing International airports, maintenance of aeroplanes and ports.

Mr Deshmukh told him that there is a great opportunity in Maharashtra for investment in ports, metro rail and housing.
