Lightning kills 4 in Chhattisgarh

Patthalgaon, Chhattisgarh, May 4 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed when lightning struck in this district's Peta village, police said.

Mogne Lal and his family were plucking herbs in a forest area last evening when the mishap occurred. Lal, his wife and two daughters were killed while a relative sustained severe burns and was admitted to a local health centre.

A couple of days back, two persons were killed and six hurt by lightning at this district's Lodam.
