Identity card for MP doctors

Bhopal, May 4 (UNI) Ayurveda and Unani doctors in Madhya Pradesh registered with the Ayurvedic and Unani System and Naturopathy Board will be issued identity cards.

The Board is presently carrying out verification of the certificates of doctors prior to issuing of identity cards, official sources said today.

The Board has also started affixing the doctor's photograph on the original certificates, which do not bear the same. Applications for issuing identity cards will be entertained till July end, the sources added.

Quacks in large number operate in the interior areas and outskirts of cities of the state in the absence of proper monitoring of medical practitioners.
