'I have never seen Rashid' says Narendra

Hyderabad, May 4 (UNI) Former Union Minister A Narendra, who was suspended from the TRS for his alleged involvement in the passport scam today said he had never seen Rashid.

Replying to questions by newspersons about the allegation levelled by Rashid, a travel agent, that he had given Narendra Rs 11 lakh, he said ''I was an MP twice and a Central Minister. How could anyone imagine that I have any connection with a broker.'' ''As an MP several people approach me to seek my help. Some even ask for a letter. I help people who come to me. That is how I function,'' Mr Narendra said.

Dismissing the allegations against him as the manifestation of the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, Mr Narendra said some forces had made him a 'scapegoat' and he would disclose all the facts shortly.

Asked about his future plans, Narendra said he would consult his loyal followers before taking a decision on his course of action.
