Golden Well revived at Tirumala Temple
Tirumala, May 4: A 'Golden Well', which was closed 23-years back due to leakage of polluted water into the well, was revived and put back to use in the temple of Lord Venkateswara here today.
As part of a master plan taken up around the four mada streets, all houses, hotels, choultries and buildings situated around the streets were demolished and shifted to other places.
Following this the Golden Well was free from the pollution and revived. After testing, the well water was used in the morning for temple rituals.
