Gold and Silver up on bullish global advices
Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Both the precious metals rose further today on bullish global advices with Silver up Rs 50 per kg and Gold by Rs 30 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange.
Silver fineness .999 opened high at Rs 18,945 per kg on good demand. Later, it improved further and closed at Rs 18,970 with a gain of Rs 50 from yesterday's close of Rs 18,920.
In London, Silver went up to USD 13.38/13.44 per troy ounce against USD 13.25/13.32 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened higher at Rs 9,075 and Rs 9,120 per ten gm on increased demand.
Later, the yellow metal moved up and closed at Rs 9,080 and Rs 9,130 per ten gm with gain of Rs 25 for standard Gold and Rs 30 for pure Gold from their last close.
In London, Gold edged up further to USD 680.00/684.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 674.00/676.00 per troy ounce in New York on Thursday.
