Girish Gandhi nominated as MLC

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna nominated Girish Gandhi as member of Legislative Council today in place of Prof Jogendra Kawade, who had resigned from post in the wake of murder of four members of a dalit family at Khairlanji.

Mr Gandhi's tenure will end on February 20 next year. He is the President of Nagpur district NCP unit.
