GE Shipping Q4 PAT up 31 pc

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) GE Shipping Company Ltd today posted 31 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 240.92 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 183.52 crore for the same a year ago.

Its total income also rose 8 per cent to Rs 592.67 crore for the said period, as against Rs 549.88 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

For the fiscal ended March 2007. it clocked a net profit of Rs 838.6 crore in comparison to Rs 883.31 crore during the same period a year ago.
