DPR Korean Vice FM meets Pakistani officials
Islamabad, May 4 (UNI) Vice Foreign Minister of the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea , Mr Kim Yong II, currently on a visit to Pakistan, held talks with Pakistan Additional Foreign Secretary Shahid Kamal, officials said today.
The two officials exchanged views on bilateral, regional and international issues during the talks held at the foreign office yesterday, foreign ministry spokesman Tasnim Aslam said in Islamabad.
The Vice Foreign Minister provided a briefing on the present status of the Six-Party Talks, de-nuclearization of the Korean peninsula and relations with other regional countries.
Kamal informed Kim on developments on the Composite Dialogue process with India , Afghanistan , and the situation in West Asia, ] Ms Aslam said.
DPRK Vice Foreign Minister also called on Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohammad Khan and discussed ways to further reinforce ties between the two countries in economic, trade and commercial fields .
