Deputy block pramukh shot dead in Siwan

Siwan, May 4 (UNI) Unidentified armed criminals shot dead a deputy block pramukh near Mairwa block under Ziradei police station in the district today.

Police said motorcycle-borne criminals opened fire on the pradhan when he was talking to his colleagues near Mairwa block.

He died on the spot.

The motive behind the killing was being investigated, police added.

Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals.
