Child Care Centre employee sodomises five minors

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Five boys, all minors, were allegedly sodomised in a Subhash Nagar 'child care centre' in West Delhi by an employee who is absconding.

Police said search for the accused, 50-year-old Bala, was on and a case registered against him on May 2 at Rajouri Garden police station after medical examination confirmed the crime.

The incident, which took place on the intervening night of April 30-May 1 at 'Sahib Devi Shiksha Kalyan Samiti' child care centre, where children of couples fighting custody battle are homed, came to light when one of the victims complained to his father.

The matter was then reported to the police and a case registered against Bala who is an employee at the care centre and lives in Subhash Nagar.

Medical examination of the children, all between 7-10 years of age, was conducted at the Deendayal Upadhyaya Hospital.

The involvement of others is being established and questioning of the children was on, said a senior police official.
