Charges framed in Butan murder case

Patna, May 4 (UNI) A local court today framed charges against seven people in connection with the murder of Butan Singh, husband of former MLA Lesi Singh.

Additional District and Sessions Judge R S Rai framed the charges against all the seven accused under various sections of IPC.

Butan Singh, who was in judicial custody, was shot dead by the criminals in Purnia district court premises on April 19, 2000. The CBI had investigated the case.
