C K Babu case accused produced before Magistrate court
Chittoor, May 4 (UNI) District police have produced three persons, who were arrested at Mulabagal in Karnakata yesterday in connection with the vain bid on the life of former Chittoor MLA and Congress leader C K Babu on February 9, before the second Additional Magistrate court here today.
Police here said the accused, who were proclaimed offenders and involved in many crimes, were sent to remand upto May 18.
A team of police officials, led by Chittoor DSP Ravindranatha Reddy, went to Mulbagal, arrested three persons and brought them to Chittoor yesterday. They were identified as R Santhakumar (32), T S Amarnath (27) and P Sasidhar (30) all residents of Chittoor.
On February 9, Mr Babu escaped with injuries and three persons including his gunman, a municipal employee and one of the assilants were killed.
