BIG 92.7 FM brings smiles to senior citizens

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) Living upto the Station's tag line ''Suno Sunao Life Banao'', BIG 92.7 FM celebrated World Laughter Day by bringing smiles to senior citizens at Shepherd Women's Home at Byculla here in Mumbai.

The event, christened the ''BIG Gudgudee'', saw Rakhi Sawant and comedy queen Purbi Joshi, and Station's breakfast jocks Vrajesh Hirjee and RJ Archana Jani keep senior citizens in splits.

Addressing the mediapersons later, Rakhi said, ''We all have our hectic schedules. I feel if we can take some time out for senior citizens and bring smiles to their lips .... that would be nice as by doing this, joys are multiplied and sorrows are divided.

I am glad to be here and do something for them.'' Mr Arjun Singh Baran, Mumbai Station Head, BIG 92.7FM, said, ''At BIG FM we believe in doing things that impact people's lives in addition to providing a wholesome entertainment mix. We are overwhelmed with the response from the gathering.'' It is these little things in life that help make a BIG difference. To make someone smile is the greatest gift one can give and we are very glad that we have managed to make an exceptional day for them, he added.
