ULFA's plan to attack Army foiled
Guwahati, May 3 (UNI) The Army today recovered an IED from Chikajan area in Hukanpukhuri under Tinsukia police station in Upper Asom.
An Army source said the IED, planted under a culvert, was kept inside a gas cylinder.
The explosive weighing about 45 kg could have blown two vehicles moving together.
The Army suspects the ULFA might have planted it targetting the routine patrol of the 2nd Bihar Regiment.
