Two girl students assaulted by outsiders in campus

Barrackpore, May 3 (UNI) Two girl students of Guru Nanak Dental Medical College and research Centre at Panihati were assaulted by some outsiders during a function inside the campus last night, police said today.

An FIR was lodged with the local police station stating some outsiders manhandled two students of the college.

The girls were assaulted during a cultural function in the campus at Kharda, North-24-Parganas, police said.

There had been no arrest so far in this connection.

Meanwhile, some guardians and students jointly submitted a memorandum to the Superintendent of the college demanding adequate security for the students.

UNI
