Three ULFA men shot dead in encounter

Guwahati, May 3 (UNI) Three ULFA rebels were killed in an encounter with the police at Koirara in Asom's Nalbari district today.

The police also recovered some weapons and ammunition from the slain ultras whose identities were yet to be ascertained.

The security force including the Army have geared up the anti-ULFA operation in Nalbari and Bagsa districts bordering Bhutan in a bid to trace the abducted FCI executive Director Dr P C Ram, who was kidnapped from the city on April 17.
