Tamil actor, another person arrested in robbery case

Chennai, May 3 (UNI) Police arrested two persons, including an actor, on the charge of snatching mobile phones and other valuables from couples at Elliots beach in Besant Nagar in the city, today.

Police said Sivasubramanian (26), an actor playing villain roles in Tamil films, and his friend Karthikeyan used to threaten couples at the beach and rob their valuables. Based on the information divulged by the duo, police recovered five mobile phones.

Sivasubramanian, hailing from Madurai, had acted in several movies including 'Arindhum Ariyamalum' and 'Ennaippar Yogam Varum'.

Besides, he was working as an assistant to popular screen villain and Producer Mansur Ali Khan.
