'Tainted' TRS MLA puts blame on KCR
Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA S Bapu Rao, who has been booked in connection with the fake passport case, today laid the blame entirely on party chief K Chandrasekhara Rao.
Coming out of hiding, Mr Rao, a tribal leader, told reporters in his Boath constituency after taking part in the state government's Prajapatham programme that he and his party colleague K Lingaiah MLA had been ''dragged'' into the case by Mr Rao mainly to settle scores with the suspended TRS Leader A Narendra.
''I am not at all involved in the case,'' he claimed.
Based on the interrogation of Lingaiah, now in police custody, the Central Crime Station (CCS) wing of the Hyderabad police, booked a case against Mr Rao, for allegedly morphing another woman's photo in place of his wife to send her abroad.
