Six naxals surrender

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, May 3 (UNI) Six naxals, including three CPI (Maoist) extremists, surrendered before the District Superintendent of Police (SP) here today.

Addressing the press here, SP Soumya Mishra said one commander, one deputy commander, one dalam member of CPI (Maoist) party, one dalam member of CPI(ML) Prathighatana and two dalam members of CPI (ML) Praja Prathighatana group had surrendered before the police.

The SP said special teams were constituted to work in liaision with government departments to ensure early rehabilitation of the surrendered naxals.
