Sahara launches single window facility for NRIs,' dependents
Jalandhar, May 3 (UNI) Sahara India today announced its entry in the service market by launching Sahara Care House, a single window platform for NRIs enabling one point access for 60 support and care services for themselves, their families and friends in India.
At the launch here today, Sahara Care House CEO Romi Datta said,''Today there are approximately 25 million people of Indian origin settled across 70 countries and form the 3rd largest diaspora. Out of this, Punjabis boasts of 12 million, which is around 50 per cent of the total NRI population.'' ''Through Sahara Care, we ensure that the needs of this community will be taken care of anytime, any day, anywhere easing their emotional and psychological worries about thier families, who may be located in any part of India,''he added.
The services offered would include serious medical emergency to a simple utility bill payment, from personalised travel and leisure, investment information, property managment and maintenance, security to flower and gift delivery to the doorstep sevices.
Mr Datta said that serives would be rendered by a highly trained workforce or 3500 relationship ambassadors, enabling family like support across 197 cities through 249 centres with a dedicated 24-hour call centre.
