Rajasthan sets target of 15 per cent growth rate

Jaipur, May 3 (UNI) The Rajasthan Government has set a target of achieving 15 per cent growth rate by the next five years, Industries Minister Narpat Singh Rajvi said here today.

Speaking at a function marking the signing of an MoU for setting up of Honda Siel Car India Ltd's (HSCI) manufacturing unit in Alwar district, Mr Rajvi said efforts made by the state government for boosting pace of industrialisation and development had yielded very good results and the state had already exceeded the growth rate achieved at the national level.

He said against the national mark of 9 per cent, Rajasthan had already attained 12 per cent growth rate.

Expressing satisfaction over boost in trade and business activities, Mr Rajvi said trade and export had achieved very impressive growth during recent years in the state.
