New Chief Justice for Gauhati High Court

Guwahati, May 3 (UNI) Former High Court Judge of Andhra Pradesh Jasti Chelameswar was today sworn in as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court at a simple function here.

Asom Governor Lt Gen. (retd) Ajai Singh administered the oath of the office at Raj Bhawan where many dignitaries were present.

Chief Justice Chelameswar succeeded Mr Justice B Sudershan Reddy.
