NCP to form new political front in Kerala
Kozhikode, May 3 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Kerala today said efforts were on to form a new political front to take on the main players -- the ruling Left Democratic Front and the Opposition United Democratic Front -- in the state.
Talking to newspersons, party state president K Muraleedharan, heading a state-wide 'Public Contact Programme,' said discussions were on with like-minded parties on this direction.
However, he refused to devulge details, stating the proposed front would materialise before the next general elections due after two years.
On the Jai Hind TV to be launched by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Muraleedharan said entrepreneurs from the West Asia had reportedly invested Rs 49 crore in the project.
He said the KPCC should reveal details of the investors for the information of the people.
