Ms Pillai is CII Regional Director, North

Chandigarh, May 3 (UNI) Ms Madhu Pillai has taken over as the new Regional Director of Confederation of Indian Industry (Northern Region), a CII press release here today said.

Ms Pillai, who has been with the Confederation for the last ten years, assumes the position of Regional Director after a successful stint as head of the CII state offices of Punjab and Chandigarh. The accomplishments during her term as state head comprise various sectoral studies and vision documents including Study on Vision Punjab : 2012 and Industry Monitor, affirming CII's fundamental belief to be a catalyst towards industrial development.

Prior to that, as Head - Sub-committees, she was actively involved in CII's work on multilateral policy issues pertaining to different sectors, demonstrating models of public private partnership.

Mr Sujith Haridas has moved to the Central Office in Delhi after completing his tenure successfully as Regional Director, of CII (Northern Region).
