MP IT Institute gets Rs 450-cr Jap grant
Bhopal, May 3 (UNI) The Jabalpur-based Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing has received a Rs 450-crore grant from Japan, Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh informed Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industry Minister Babulal Gaur in New Delhi today.
During a courtesy meeting with Mr Singh, former Chief Minister Gaur -- who is also the Minister in charge of Jabalpur district -- expressed gratitude for the grant and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamalnath's efforts in that direction, an official release said here today.
The Institute was set up last year, the release added.
