MP denizens get respite from heat
Bhopal, May 3 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh denizens today had a respite from intense heat as clouds enveloped the sky in the state capital and other regions of the state, which had been reeling under nearly 45 degree Celsius since the beginning of this month.
Gwalior, Chambal, Bhopal, Sagar, Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions witnessed a cloudy sky bringing respite from scorching heat and resluting in marginal decline in day temperature.
Regional Meteorological department director D P Dubey told UNI here that a trough built over Rajasthan and spread over Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka would result in clouds enveloping various parts of the state and cause drizzle at isolated places.
Heat wave conditions prevailed in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain divisions overnight, while Sagar, Hoshangabad and Gwalior divisions received light rainfall. Sagar recorded one cm rainfall.
