Man robbed, stabbed by 2 motorcyclists in Anand

Anand, May 3 (UNI) Two motorcycle borne youths waylaid a man on a scooter and snatched cash of Rs 400 and his mobile after stabbing him early today between Bakrol and Jole villages, 5 km from here.

Chandrakantbhai Kalidas Patel,46, was on his way to Swaminarayan temple at Vadtal when two youths on a motorcyle suddenly overtook him and stopped in front of him. One of them stabbed Chandrakantbhai and took away Rs 400 alongwith a mobile.

Chandrakantbhai was rushed to Shri Krishna hospital in Karamsad in a serious condition. However, hospital sources said that he was out of danger now.

The police have registered case under Section 394, 397 of IPC.
