Jet Airways creates its European hub in Brussels

New Delhi, May 3 (UNI) Jet Airways has announced the creation of its European hub in Brussels which will provide increased connectivity between India and Europe, Africa and North America.

The largest private airline in India will work closely with Brussels Airlines and offer seamless connections.

Jet also today announced the launch of daily services from Mumbai to New York (Newark) via Brussels starting August 5. It will also offer daily services from Delhi to Toronto via Brussels.

In near future, Jet plans to operate a total of ten daily flights from Brussels between cities in India and cities in the United States and Canada.

It will also operate from Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Chennai to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York (JFK) via its Brussels hub.

Jet and Brussels Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) implementing code-share, frequent flyer partnership, and through check-in facilities.

As part of the comprehensive expansion plans, Jet Airways' chairman Naresh Goyal confirmed that deliveries for the first of 20 wide body aircraft have started.
